This morning we found out that we lost a child of the Sanktown community and of the McIntosh Elementary School family. Nathan Reed, a forth grader at the school was killed in a car accident, on his way to school, when another car ran a stop sign and the airbag came out and broke his neck. He is the son of Evie Reed and the grandson of Ms. Judy Faye and the cousin of one of our students,Evie, in the after school program.
Please keep this family and the school in your prayers, during the upcoming holiday season.

I was so sorry to hear of this terrible tragedy. My prayers will be with this family, as well as the Choctaw Staff as you share in their grief and minister to them in the name of Jesus.

Just an update for those that check comments... Jennifer has confirmed that Nathan in fact attended Sports Camp this past summer. We have also heard that he was an active participant in his church and really liked school as well. The school is closing early this Thursday for his funeral.
