Team-2-Tutor
Team-2-Tutor is an after school program fir K-5th students where a dedicated staff spends time assisting in their homework and study skills. Students  in the program also spend time in Gods word with a daily devotion and participate in art, music and physical education at least once a week. SOUL (Serving Others Unleashing Love)SOUL is a summer ministry program created to provide opportunities for service and ministry in the name of Jesus for the building of God's kingdom. Here anyone from youth group, young adult groups, bible studies, and sunday schools take a week of their summer to assist in leading Vacation Bible Schools, Sports Camps, and also volunteer time to do work Projects.

R.E.A.L. Youth
The MOWA Choctaw Friends Center offers a weekly time of games and bible study for those in middle and high school. Students are lead in times of worship and learning about Jesus Christ. The Youth have been to many concerts including the Annual Winter Jam Tour  and Lucedale, Mississippi's "Praise in the Park". Youth have participated in serving their community by serving with the USDA Food bank MOWA offers and visiting local retirement homes. Students also have opportunities to join in lock-in's, weekend retreat's such as Disciple Now (D-Now), skating and so much more.


Rummage Sale
At least once a week, MOWA holds a sale of donated items from churches across the nation, very similar to Goodwill and sells them to the community. Continual needs are toiletries, seasonal clothing, school supplies and household items. Seasonal Items the store needs are dresses for Jr and Sr. High School Proms. The local school systems require students to wear uniforms. Kakhi short and pants are always in need as well as long and short sleeve polo's.  Below are the local school colors:

6th-12th: Navy Blue, Yellow, Gold, Black, White, Grey
Jackson
K-12th: Gold, Yellow, White, Grey, Black
Citronelle
9th-12th: White

*Polos must be solid in color, no logos

Monthly Potluck Meals

Once a month, MOWA Choctaw hosts a potluck where it provides the main dish and guests are encouraged to bring any side dish or desert. Here the community gets together and enjoys a time of fellowship with one another and return home with happy stomachs.




USDA Food Bank / Emergency Assistance 
MOWA works with the local USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) to provide food for needy families as well as snacks for those enrolled into Team-2-Tutor. In Thanksgiving season, NCYM specifically offers a way for you to donate to the MOWA Center to assist in the purchase of Thanksgiving Meals, click here for more info.

Work Projects within the Community
Throughout the year, groups have housed at the MOWA Center and provided a service of repair or rebuilding either to our center or to a house in the community. Such projects include building porches, decks, stairways, and ramps; repainting homes and fences, rewiring and plumbing work, and landscaping. If you like to work, we can find the work you enjoy!

Fall Festival, Pig Pickin', Basketball Tournament
MOWA Choctaw hosts a an annual basketball tournament for youth and young adults in the community. Even if you do not play basketball, it is a great time of fellowship and meeting new people.  MOWA also organizes a Fall Festival for the McIntosh Community as well as a Pig Pickin'

MOWA Christmas Tree/Jingle All the Way 5K
The MOWA Christmas Tree is a program designed to help families provide their children's Christmas list as well as provide basic needs for the whole family. We as a Yearly Meeting try to do help by hosting 5K and a Toy Drive. You can check out the following links to find out more info.
